Insights, exchange and innovation ECCA Coil Coating Seminar 2025 at Brillux
The Coil Coating Seminar 2025 of the ECCA-Gruppe Deutschland e. V. on 23 and 24 September at Brillux was a resounding success. Nearly 40 participants came together to gain expert insights, exchange ideas, and deepen their practical understanding of coil coating processes.
Day 1: Practical foundations and active exchange
After a warm reception and lunch together, the seminar started with an introduction to coil coating and key processes stages – from chemical pre-treatment to modern coating systems to drying technologies, as well as environmental and occupational health and safety.
The day delivered concentrated expert knowledge alongside ample opportunities for professional exchange. The program concluded with a guided tour of Münster’s historic old town and a relaxed evening dinner, providing an ideal setting for networking and informal discussions.
Day 2: Innovation and hands-on experience
The second day focused on forward-looking technologies and real-world challenges. Topics included UV curing, advanced measurement technologies, special applications, and the analysis of typical defect patterns. A highlight was the plant tour, offering direct insights into current production processes and innovative coating solutions.
Experts from across the company were represented — from laboratory, production, and quality assurance to purchasing, marketing, sales, and application — alongside students from technical disciplines. The intensive professional exchange and networking once again made the event a genuine platform for innovation.
